Build your technology skills with Senior Planet! Join us for a series of free, friendly classes designed to help older adults feel more comfortable and confident using today’s technology.
As technology becomes more and more important, we all have a role to play in the growing e-waste problem. In this lecture, we’ll go over options like repairing, trading in, selling, or donating devices before recycling. You’ll also learn how to find responsible, certified recycling options. Most importantly, we’ll cover the essential steps to prep devices before they leave your hands so that your data and privacy is protected.
These classes are presented as part of the Senior Planet program from AARP and Older Adults Technology Services (OATS).
