The criminal justice system involves more than laws and rules. In policing, courts, and corrections, some of the most difficult decisions involve ethical questions that go beyond what is simply legal.
This thought-provoking presentation explores the gray areas where law, ethics, fairness, responsibility, and justice intersect. Using real-world examples, discover why an action may be legal yet still feel wrong—and how professionals navigate situations when the rulebook does not provide a clear answer.
OLLI at FAU offers hundreds of engaging lectures and courses on history, AI, health and wellness, psychology, current events, the arts, and more. No grades, tests, or homework—just learning for the joy of it.
